Feeding your dog
Feeding your dog -- in fact, giving your dog ANYTHING orally (besides kisses!) should be done with your dog in a vertical, "begging" type, position so that gravity works for your dog. In that regard, we strongly recommend that you order and watch the DVD/CD that was made for you for this purpose!
A dvd/vhs/cd on care and instructions on how to build the Bailey Chair can be ordered from matthew1@earthlink.net, for $6.60. The fee does NOT include any profit, but, rather covers costs of production of copies, mailers, postage, copy paper & printer ink for insert copies, blank DVDs and cases for DVDs. This was done by the designers of the Bailey Chair, and you can be most certain of proper fit and likely success with its use if your dog is comfortable in the chair.
Some owners contact boy scouts, high school shop classes, handymen, etc, to build
the chairs if they do not feel they are handy enough. We strongly recommend that you try to get someone local to you so that a "fitting" can be done with your dog in the chair, and adjustments made for comfort and ease of use!
Neal Moor (hechairbuilder@yahoo.com) will build a chair and charges ONLY for the
cost of materials and shipping (shipping is often more costly than the cost of
materials). Payment is required before building occurs, as if purchaser decides
they don't want the chair, Mr. Moor should not have to 'eat' the cost of
materials.
